Today, LoJack is thrilled to welcome Henry Beck as the newest member of its Law Enforcement Liaison team. Beck will be responsible for supporting, training and collaborating with law enforcement agencies throughout North and South Carolina. This will further bolster the utilization of the LoJack® Stolen Vehicle Recovery Systems in these regions to prevent auto theft.
Beck is a former Detective Sergeant from the Spartanburg County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Department, with more than 20 years of law enforcement experience. He has significant experience in vehicle theft investigations. Beck also serves as First Vice President of the Southeast Regional Chapter of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators.
“During his long law enforcement career Henry has developed great confidence in and has concluded many successful investigations utilizing the LoJack® Stolen Vehicle Recovery Network in South Carolina. Among several highly qualified candidates he stood out as having the background, training skills, and specialized experience to further lead the way for LoJack to expand its technology and relationships within the Carolinas and beyond,” said Patrick Clancy, Vice President of the LoJack Law Enforcement Department.
Prior to his career in law enforcement, Beck served in the US Marine Corps. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Department hired him as a Deputy, and he rose through the ranks within the department, working various assignments before being promoted to Detective with the Property Crimes Unit. While in Property Crimes, which was responsible for auto theft investigations, he became proficient in vehicle identification and recovery, as well as conducting vehicle theft-related investigations. In 2012, when he was promoted to Sergeant in the Property Crimes Unit, he primarily oversaw and supervised all vehicle theft related investigations.
Beck added: “I am honored and excited to bring my vehicle theft recovery experience to the LoJack team. I have worked on hundreds of vehicle theft cases over the course of my law enforcement career, and I am looking forward to continuing to serve these communities in my new position at LoJack.”
