LoJack® System Helps San Diego Police Department Recover Stolen BMW X3

The owner of this gorgeous 2015 BMW X3 made one heck of a smart decision to purchase a LoJack® Stolen Vehicle Recovery System to protect his investment.
On July 23, 2014, the owner of this 2015 BMW X3 contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from his residence in the city of San Diego.
San Diego Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® transponder concealed in the BMW.
Within 45 minutes, officers from San Diego Police Department picked up the silent signals from the LoJack® System installed in the stolen BMW X3 with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a downtown public parking garage at the 800 block of Market Street in the city of San Diego. The vehicle was found abandoned in the top fifth floor of the parking garage.
