SuzukiThe owner of a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle contacted the Dallas Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. The motorcycle was stolen from the owner’s apartment complex parking lot.

The Dallas PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Suzuki.

Later, officers from the Arlington Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Suzuki motorcycle with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen motorcycle to a storage facility.  Officers were able to determine the exact storage room the stolen motorcycle was inside and executed a search warrant.  The motorcycle was recovered with only damage to the ignition.  The suspect rented the storage room a week before the motorcycle was stolen.  An arrest warrant is pending.

This was the second time this motorcycle was stolen and recovered because it was equipped with LoJack.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Suzuki motorcycle in October of 2007 by Chicago Cycle in Lincolnwood, Illinois.
