In this case, a 2014 BMW 750 is stolen from a dealer in North Carolina and recovered by police in Atlanta, GA, assisted by the LoJack® system, in just over an hour after activation.

On November 8th, 2013, a dealership in Greensboro, NC reported the incident to the Greensboro Police. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack transponder concealed in the 750 was then automatically activated.

A short time later, an Atlanta Police Auto Theft Task Force officer began receiving the homing signal from the stolen car on the LoJack Tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer tracked the BMW to an apartment complex where he found it parked and abandoned. The 750 was soon returned to the very relieved dealership.
