The LoJack® Early Warning feature adds a layer of protection to the LoJack® Stolen Vehicle Recovery System that alerts you by text, e-mail or phone if your vehicle is moved without your authorization. The Early Warning product works through a key pass. If the vehicle is moved without the key pass present, it triggers an alert.
Upon receiving an alert* and confirming that the incident is indeed a theft, a stolen vehicle report would be filed with police, activating the unit** and enabling police to track and recover your stolen vehicle.
