CR was born in Erie, PA and currently resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Jennifer. CR began racing in 2000 and turned pro in 2001. His first race bike was a 1999 Honda CBR600, and his first motorcycle was a Rupp Mini bike with a 5hp engine when he was just 10 years old. CR is a seven-year veteran of the AMA and has had numerous top 20 finishes throughout his career.

CR's current 2008 Suzuki GSXR 1000 Superstock Motorcycle's top speed was 198.69 MPH at the Daytona International Speedway. Superstock motorcycles are modified versions of what the consumer buys at their local Suzuki dealer. "There is not a part on my motorcycle that you cannot go to your local dealership and purchase," says CR.
